THE PRISONS WEEK PRAYER
Lord, you offer freedom to all people. We pray for those in prison. Break the bonds of fear and isolation that exist. Support with your love prisoners and their families and friends, prison staff and all who care. Heal those who have been wounded by the actions of others, especially the victims of crime. Help us to forgive one another, to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly together with Christ in his strength and in his Spirit, now and every day. Amen.
Home Groups - This Autumn our Home Groups will be using "Talking Jesus", a new resource produced by Hope and the Church of England. If you would like to join a group, please talk to David or contact Pearl.
On Friday evening 7th Sepenber we will have a Half Night of Prayer from 7pm to Midnight.
This will include prayer for the life of our church, for a new term of church activities and for the appointment of a Children and Families Worker and a Youth and Schools Worker. A full prayer guide will be available nearer the time.

This has been an area of encouraging growth recently, and we are keen to build on the excellent work done by the previous jobholder. This is a wonderful opportunity to work within a surprisingly diverse community, and with a friendly and supportive staff team.

o be a committed disciple of Jesus, keen to share the Good News with others in both church and community through loving service and creative communication
o have excellent communication skills, written and oral, and good computer literacy
o have a good understanding of, and exemplary practice in, safeguarding issues.
