Introduction to All Saints

A word of welcome from the Rector

Rev David Chamberlin July 2015

Welcome to All Saints' Milton! All Saints' Church exists to to glorify God, as we rejoice in the love of the Father and share the good news of Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit. In everything we do at All Saints, we seek to express this purpose. We get to know the love of God through our worship, we show the good news of Jesus through our involvement in the community, and we experience the power of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives, giving us the strength to do all that we believe God has called us to do.

Our focus is upward to God and outward to the community, and we work hard to ensure that everyone is welcomed, and everyone is involved, as far as they feel able. Prayer is central to everything we are and do, and the Bible is the rule and guide for all our life. We are open to the Holy Spirit in all that we do. These are our core values, but we are a work in progress!

As you will see elsewhere on this site, we offer a variety of styles of worship each Sunday, to cater for the different needs of the people of Milton. I hope that you will find a service that suits you, and that you will come along to join us in worshipping our wonderful God. There are many other activities that take place during the week, ranging from Parents and Toddlers to the Lunch Club for the elderly - you will be made most welcome at any of these.

As a church, we believe that God answers prayer, so we regularly pray for the community of Milton, and for the various organisations and activities within it; if there is anything specific for which you would value prayer, please do contact the Church Office at This email address is being protected from spambots. If there is anything else that you feel that All Saints Church could usefully do for you or for the local community, then please do be in touch with us.

With every blessing from our risen Saviour,

Rev David Chamberlin, Rector.
