Services at All Saints

Written by Webmaster on .

In line with the latest guidance from the Church of England and following risk assessment, All Saints welcomes you back into the Church building for some services.

Starting Sunday 25th October, Sunday Worship will revert to a more familiar pattern with the usual 8am Holy Communion service, then a 10.30am Morning Worship with Junior Church for Primary age children service in church. The Junior church activities will take place either outside in the churchyard or in the hall. This service will include some multimedia / pre-recorded elements, as well as live music, and will be livestreamed, replacing the Online Together services. The only excepton to this will be the second Sunday in the month, when there will be an Online Together All Age service, and Holy Communion service in church in the 10.30am slot.

There will also be a midweek service at 2pm on Wednesdays.

Because of physical distancing recommendations the number of seats is limited, so to manage this and avoid disappointment if you arrive and we're already full, we are reserving seats, booked online (free, via Eventbrite). Click here to reserve your places (any service). Each booking is for a pair of seats. If you are coming on your own you will need to reserve a single pair of seats and if two people from the same household are coming together then they reserve one pair of seats between them. If you have issues with online booking you can call 01223 667368 to reserve.

Wearing a face covering in church is now mandatory under government advice, so please wear one if you are able.

We will also be LiveStreaming the two Sunday services so please join us that way if you prefer. Further information on how to join us can be found here.

Light Trail

Written by Webmaster on .

We are organising a Light Trail this year on 31st October.

If you would like to join in there will be a trail map here nearer the time showing locations of decorated windows to see, starting at 5pm. The trail will end at an illuminated grotto in the churchyard where sweets will be available (individually wrapped and distributed) from 6-7.30pm. There will be an extra something for those dressed in a light, bright, colourful and cheerful way.

If you would like to decorate your own window in a light, bright, cheerful way and be part of the trail, you could use lamps, candles, fairy lights, colourful paper/fabric/decorations, etc. There is are also some pictures to download here and here that you may like to print and colour. Please ensure there are no decorations associated with Halloween (pumpkins, bats, spiders etc.) if you don’t want trick or treaters to knock on your door.

Remembrance Sunday Poppies

Written by Webmaster on .

This year for Remembrance Sunday we would love to decorate the tower at All Saints Milton with lots of poppies!

Can you help? We would love for you to knit, sew or crochet as many poppies as you are able and deliver them to 28 The Rowans. Please send them in as soon as any are completed (don’t wait until you’ve finished them all) so that we can start to assemble the final decoration.
