Landbeach Christmas Tree Festival takes place Saturday/Sunday 2nd-3rd December
Thanks – from the Ekisa UK Team
Today the total raised from our Fair has reached the fantastic sum of £1592, with still a few last items to be counted. All of this money will soon be sent to Ekisa in Jinja to help with all the important work going on there with the Ekisa Academy and so many other initiatives 're-writing the story of disability' in Uganda.
We say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the Fair, for all those who gave time to help, to all those who gave cakes for refreshments and to everyone who came along on the day.
Many Thanks
The Ekisa UK Team
Following last year's success we are collecting £5 and £10 Tesco vouchers to be given to the women in the Mid Cambs refuge. The vouchers don't need to be especially for Christmas because often they are used in an emergency when a woman arrives with no money at all. If anyone would like to contribute to this collection please bring a voucher and receipt to the box provided in the foyer marked Mid-Cambs refuge. Alternatively drop in Sue Nunn's letterbox.
All vouchers to arrive by 1st December please.
Thank you, Gill Uttin (on behalf of the Mothers' Union)

Join us to mark Remembrance Sunday at the 10:30 service on the 12th.
Service starts in church at 10:30, and we will walk to the village war memorial for the 11 o'clock silence, then return to church for the rest of the service (ending approx 11.45). Children & youth activities alongside.
Or join the village uniformed organisations walking from the Community Centre on Coles Road to the church starting approx 10:15am.
